Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

This was a video played prior to presenting Board of Directors Secretary, Terry Cook, the Changemaker Award at the 2017 BIG Event Gala.

Erica and Joshua had a small intimate wedding ceremony in the mountains on Gold Creek Pond near Snoqualmie Pass. The had they first had a first look with personal vows followed by a small ceremony with close family. They later had a reception dinner at Salish Lodge and shared this video with their guests.

Gold Creek Pond is a picturesque mountain pond atop Snoqualmie Pass. The views open up here as you look across the pond to the south. The pond (which looks more like a lake) beckons. It is crystal clear, blue and very deep. You don't need to scramble down to its banks, because a paved spur trail leads hikers down to it. Kids will enjoy throwing rocks in the water and exploring.

Esther and Andrew had a beautiful wedding at Black Diamond Gardens on July 14, 2019.

The photography was done by Loren and Kim with Alante Photography.

They had a moment on a dock where they saw each other for the first time and then shared special vows with each other. They had a traditional ceremony followed by a reception. After the reception they had a traditional tea ceremony.
